We were out to dinner at Cafe Rio when a child at the table behind us walked into Kevin’s elbow, smacked right in the head. The parents apologized profusely to us, pulling their slightly dazed child back toward the table.

As we were leaving, Kevin remarked “I must be one tough S-O-B. I strike someone else’s child in public and they apologize to ME!”

The other day we were in the car and the song ‘People are Strange‘ by Echo and the Bunnymen came on the radio.  One of the lines in the song played:

When you’re strange
No one remembers your name

Prompting Kevin to say, “That was obviously written before American Idol.  Example: William Hung.”
