On the outside, I try to project an image of having it all together. But underneath that, I'm kind of a disaster. Hence... the name of the site: GlossyVeneer. I won a gift card for Athleta through a contest they had on their site recently. The contest awarded a gift card to the first 5 or 10 people to answer a series of questions correctly, all of the answers were found in their blog’s content. So I had to work to get this prize. When I was telling Kevin about this I said, “And somehow I happened to win.”
He said, “You make it sound like there wasn’t any effort on your part, like it was all just random.”
“You’re right. I did work hard to find those answers. I’m pleased with my effort to get the win!”
“Duh… winning. You used your warlock skills and tiger blood to get it.”
