Yes Man
I would have a really hard time incorporating the base concept of this movie into my life. But it’s exactly the excitement and intrigue of what you could experience if you actually did say “YES!” to things that scared you more often that makes me think it’s kind of a good idea. The message of the movie works. A reviewer on IMDB said it best: “Never in the history of humankind has the average person had so many opportunities to live life in ways never before imagined, yet never before have we been so isolated.”
There was a weird disparity in ages between the main characters and a couple moments felt like they dragged the joke on a little longer than necessary, but overall those didn’t matter because the theme was so good that I’m giving this movie a positive nod.
Now I’ve gotta go find some bungee-jumping or Korean language lessons to take.
