Notable:
Lots of nakedness, especially in the opening credits. It was a little surprising to start a movie that I thought was a crime story with some T&A.
Quote:
I always wanted to meet a white man by the name of Brown.
Rating: R for sexual content, nudity, violence and language
The Bank Job
This movie surprised me in many ways. I knew it was a heist flick, but it wasn’t as action-packed as I assumed (since the star was Jason Statham and he has a history of being in films that are all action and no substance). There were several little quips that are under the radar, a lot of the meat is in the dialogue, and the actors all do a pretty good job with their roles. The story is convoluted and it is hard to keep some of the players straight. But that fact becomes more interesting since this is based on a true story and the fact that these low-level criminals were able to orchestrate such a complex crime (often through dumb luck and fortuitous circumstances) is somewhat remarkable.
