Not Quite Right

You know, I’ve been feeling kind of sick for weeks. WEEKS!!

At first I was just blaming it on an increase in my running mileage. I know lots of runners experience varying types of intestinal distress, especially when they run longer or harder.

But now that I’m really thinking about it, I haven’t felt 100% right since I got back from Mexico. I need to call the doctor on Monday. This is making my life pretty miserable all too frequently lately and if it continues I’m afraid my running will really start to suffer. (And seriously, that’s one of the most important things in my life right now!)

Maybe a course of some kind of antibiotics will help?

Blech…

It Made Me Laugh

I’ve been watching the “I Love the New Millennium” series on VH1. It’s done in the same format as the “I Love the 80′s” and “I Love the 90′s”, except VH1 seems a little confused in that this decade isn’t over yet. But that little item aside, the shows entertainment because I can have them on in the background while taking care of dinner, dishes, blog surfing, etc. and I don’t have to be fully vested to get a laugh.

But one item in the 2001 episode made me laugh. They were discussing Moulin Rouge and the Lady Marmalade video that came out at the same time. And one of the interviews was with Dee Snider and he said in regard to Christina Aguilera, “When I saw that video I said, ‘Hey, she looks like me.’”

Twins

Funniest damn thing of the whole show.
