From the IMDB Profile

Notable:
Jon Favreau has lost quite a bit of weight and he looks great in this. Plus Peter Billingsley is an executive producer in this… that’s RALPHIE from A Christmas Story!!!

Iron Man

Wow, wow, wow… this is what a super hero/comic book movie should be! I loved this so much, seriously… well played Favreau and crew. Robert Downey, Jr. was a great super hero, Gwyneth Paltrow was actually pretty likable in her role, Jeff Bridges was awesome (and looked pretty tough as well!), the whole cast rocked. The visuals were great without feeling too over-the-top and the writing was great. Make sure to stick around until the very ending to catch an additional scene. This was a great flick and I’m pretty sure we will be making this one part of our collection.

My rating: 4.5 stars

  1. Oh, this one was a fabulous movie! I saw it all by myself the first time, and when I left the theater to drive home at 10 o’clock at night, I found myself looking up at the sky, half-expecting to see Iron Man. The moviemakers did such a great job of creating a believable world grounded in reality.

  2. This movie rocked. Who knew that Robert Downey Jr could look so hot? We caught the add’l scene at the end. Looks like Iron Man may show up again in another movie sometime in the future..Hope so!

  3. hubs already saw this in the theater alone, so I guess I’ll have to wait till it comes on OnDemand. I don’t think he’ll mind watching it again. He enjoyed it too!

  4. Bethany: You’re totally right, too many of these are just too far-fetched. I can enjoy something that is obviously fantasy, but if it’s too incredulous it just gets distracting.

Robin: Yeah, I think Robert Downey, Jr. looks better now than he ever has!

Little Miss Mel: My husband caught this movie while in OK for work. He liked it so much, he insisted we see it on the big screen together as opposed to waiting for Netflix! :-)
