Made of Honor

Plot:
A guy in love with an engaged woman tries to win her over after she asks him to be her maid of honor.
From the IMDB Profile

Notable:
Patrick Dempsey soooo didn’t look like he was supposed to be around my age in this flick. But based on the year at the beginning of the movie (1998), that was my impression of his character.

Made of Honor

I did take away a few things from this film:
1) “Bloggers” are always psychos or weirdos in movies.
2) I needed to have some Scottish traditions at my weddings because they looked fun.
3) Men in movies remember all kinds of tiny little details that real world men would never notice.
This movie frustrated me because I went back and forth about whether or not I truly enjoyed it. I thought Michelle Monaghan was really cute in her role while Patrick Dempsey had good moments and other moments where his character was a complete jackass. Several of the supporting characters were just in the movie enough to be annoying, but not enough to let me feel like I really knew why there were there. And several of the jokes that tried to be a little raunchier fell totally flat. While some moments did make me laugh and some made me feel that “awww….” that you should get from a chick-flick, overall it wasn’t really a winner.

My rating: 2.5 stars

I know. WAY too old for college graduate in 1998!
I probably would have thrown myself in front of her saying “DO NOT MARRY THE FORNICATOR” as well.

    He seemed like a jerk.

And? I am not sure why she changed her mind in the end. Seriously…Nothing had changed.

    Still…I did like it.

P.S. I should get a shirt that says “Psychoblogger”
