Rush Hour 3

Plot:
After an attempted assassination on Ambassador Han, Lee and Carter head to Paris to protect a French woman with knowledge of the Triads’ secret leaders.
From the IMDB Profile

Notable:
I found this on IMDB about the production of the film: “The production crew agreed upon a $20 fine any time anyone’s cell phone rang during shooting. The money would be donated to the homeless charity Chrysalis. By late February, it had over $600.”

Quote:
My wife says I can’t be a spy anymore. I have to be home for dinner.

Thoughts:
I remember liking Rush Hour. I know that I saw Rush Hour 2 but am having a hard time remembering anything about it right now, except that I recall it was kind of fun. But this movie, it just annoyed me the whole time. It seemed like there were a lot of REALLY bad actors, the dialogue seemed sloppy and hastily concocted and Chris Tucker totally seemed to “phone in” his performance. Maybe I was in a bad mood to be watching this (very possible since I was in a downer state all weekend) but I just wanted it to end. The only thing I liked was George the taxi driver, I found him funny. The quote above is from him, funniest damn moment in the film for me.

Rating: PG-13 for sequences of action violence, sexual content, nudity and language

  1. We watched this on the flight home from Mexico. I groaned when I saw what it was, but actually enjoyed it.

Probably because I had low expectations. :)
