The Simpsons Movie

Plot:
From the IMDB Profile

Notable:
The FOX company registered the domain ‘simpsonsmovie.com’ nine years before the movie was released. The movie wasn’t even written yet.

Quote:
Look at that, you can see the four states that border Springfield: Ohio, Nevada, Maine, and Kentucky!

Thoughts:
This was just a long episode of the TV show, which isn’t a bad thing. I used to work for a FOX television station, we had ‘Simpsons Dinner Break’ every Sunday night at work. In fact, it is pretty impressive that they were able to stretch out the show into a longer format and still keep the humor at the same level. I liked that for the most part they didn’t add a lot of celebrity voices to the mix, just kept it the same crew that’s been doing the voices forever.

Rating: PG-13 for irreverent humor throughout

  1. I loved this movie. I have been a die hard Simpson’s fan since college and I agree it was just like the regular episodes.

I felt like it was good classic Simpson’s. They didn’t try to pull punches or turn the characters into anything they weren’t.
