Notable:
The movie was initially pitched as “Romeo and Juliet for vampires and werewolves”.

We put the bullets back in.

Thoughts:
Blech…. I didn’t feel any chemistry between the characters that supposedly ended up in love. I didn’t see much of a romance story to this. I didn’t see much of an action story to this. Generally it was a waste of time, except it served as an excuse to eat popcorn.

Rating: R for strong violence/gore and some language

Transformers

Plot:
A war re-erupts on Earth between two robotic clans, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons, leaving the fate of mankind hanging in the balance.

Why, if he’s supposed to be like this super-advanced robot, does he transform back into this piece of crap Camaro?

Thoughts:
This movie was silly. I think that guys will enjoy it more than girls, especially boys that played with Transformers. So apparently that is about every guy from the 80′s beyond, since they have kept making the toys. I found it to be a little long and not really that compelling, but my husband got a kick out of it. There were some funny little quips and I thought Shia LeBeouf did a good job with his role. Many sections of bad dialogue and the main girl was so boring and bad, it was apparent she was cast only for her looks. Overall it could have been better, but I guess I wasn’t really the target demographic.

Rating: PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, brief sexual humor, and language
