Closer

Plot:
The relationships of two couples become complicated and deceitful when the man from one couple meets the woman of the other.
From the IMDB Profile

Notable:
Natalie Portman looks amazing all the time, even with red or pink hair. She’s a very lucky gal.

Quote:
Alice: I don’t eat fish.
Dan: Why not?
Alice: Fish piss in the sea.
Dan: So do children.
Alice: Don’t eat children either.

Thoughts:
I hated this movie. I grew up in a very prudish environment and that’s hard to suppress, so the sexual tone of this made me uncomfortable. But the relationships in this film were awkward and and didn’t seem to be based on any feelings other than lust. The characters came across as awful people. The only good thing about this was the song ‘The Blower’s Daughter’ by Damien Rice featured throughout.

Rating: R for sequences of graphic sexual dialogue, nudity/sexuality and language
