A twisted take on ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ with a teenage juvenile delinquent on the run from a social worker traveling to her grandmother’s house and being hounded by a charming, but sadistic, serial killer/pedophile.
From the IMDB Profile

Notable:
Whoa… this is a Reese Witherspoon unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Crazy, dark and twisty.

Quote:
Cause I’m pissed off and the world owes me.

Thoughts:
This movie was non-stop cursing, violence and mayhem. It is a twist on the story of Little Red Riding Hood, but removed as far beyond any semblance to a childhood story as possible. There is an undercurrent of dark humor running through this thriller. It was disturbing, grotesque and completely compelling. Kiefer Sutherland was thoroughly creepy and Reese Witherspoon showed phenomenal range. This movie is not for the faint of heart, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless I knew they were a fan of independent, edgy films and have a good tolerance for the f-word and blood.
