They’ve changed the lights in the women’s restroom at my work since the last time I was here. Now they have long fluorescent fixtures installed right over the mirrors and I look like death warmed over. I always knew I was a pale girl, but my reflection looks so completely white-faced. I don’t know if I truly look that frightening or not, but it does make me think that maybe I need to overcome my debilitating fear of blush.

I’m in Utah… again. I feel like I’ve been here about every single week this summer. It’s getting tiring. But alas, it is my contractually obligated week to be here, thus I am abiding by those rules so as to keep my status of being ‘gainfully employed’.

Anyway, while I was driving I was listening to the alternative rock radio station in The Vegas. This summer they have been doing “shuffle weekends” where they put the radio station computer on random and play whatever comes up. Most of the time, everything fits format, but occasionally it is a little strange.

So while I was driving I got to hear the latest single from the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Stadium Arcadium album, then I got to hear Frank Sinatra do it his way, and then I heard Nine Inch Nails with the song Only. Weird…
