As we’re standing in the kitchen making peanut butter sandwiches for lunch, we notice it is getting very dark as a storm rolls through the valley. My husband calls out, “Kitchen Lights On!” Nothing happens causing him to curse, “Damn technology not where we need it.”
I said to him, “Actually, that technology is available. It would just cost an arm and a leg to get it.”
His response, “I like my arms and legs. We’ll use yours.”

So, my car broke down yesterday… again.
It is now at the shop… again.
They are supposed to tell me what is wrong with it and how much it will cost to fix… again.
If it costs too much, I’m not fixing it. I’ll just sell it to an auto wrecker or something like that. In fact, I almost hope that I can do that and just eliminate that nuisance from my life. It just irritates the hell out of me that I’m dealing with this and meetings on the day of my move.
