The Little Things

Neon Update #2930593:
The car is back in my clutches. The dirty beast is parked in the garage, waiting to be taken to the car wash (or out in the torrential rain that is falling now) to get some of the dust and grime from it’s recent trials cleaned off. The locking mechanism is still not working right. If I push the lock down on the inside, close the door and then try to unlock the door using the key, it won’t work and I have to climb through the passenger side and force it open. If I close the door and then lock the door with the key, it will unlock just fine. The people at the shop don’t think that any of the recent activities surrounding the car have anything to do with the lock not working, it is just a weird “coincidence”. That’s bull, but how do I prove that the lock worked fine before? I can’t wait to buy a new car.

Hair Repair:
I haven’t gotten a haircut in about 2 months and my ends were desperately needing a trim. I went to my salon yesterday and got two inches cut off. Then, on a whim, I decided to get bangs cut. I haven’t had bangs in about 15 years, so this is very new and exciting. But I needed a change and while dying the hair purple sounded appealing, I don’t think that would be looked upon very well at work. So I got bangs. I am so rebellious!

Christmas Decorations:
We took all of the Christmas decorations down today. I always feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders when the Christmas tree is gone. Trees are so dirty and they bug my allergies. Next year we’re going for artificial.

It’s cold and wet and windy and just plain awful outside in the world today. Thank goodness I have my awesome new virtual personal trainer so I don’t have to venture out to the gym today. Seriously, I love this program. It’s so cool….. I promise I’ll shut up about it at some point.
