I’ve been “SPOOKED” by the Halloween Ghost

Happy Halloween!

I know your family will adore,
Helping this ghost go from door to door.
So fill two plates with another treat,
And help the ghost go on down the street!

Please accept this plate of goodies from your unknown neighborhood ghost. Quickly hang the ghost on your door so everyone knows that you have been visited. Copy the ghost pattern and deliver it with a plate of goodies to two other unsuspecting neighbors. Lets see if the ghost can find every home in the neighborhood before Halloween.

About two weeks ago my doorbell rang. I went to answer the door, finding only a plate of sugar cookies and a picture of a ghost with the above message on my porch. I remember something like this went through my childhood neighborhood and nearly everybody had a ghost on their door by Halloween. All of the kids in the neighborhood were excited to see who would have a ghost on their door next. It was great. So I went to the store and bought supplies to make a yummy caramel brownie recipe that I have. I cut the brownies, put them on plates and sprinkled candy corn around the brownies. It was so domestic and cutesy that I couldnt believe that I had created this. Then we delivered the plates to two of our neighbors.

And those jerks didnt put their signs up and continue the game! So there are only about 6 houses in my neighborhood that have ghosts on their doors. Were not very good at this neighborly thing here in my snooty hood.

Snow

Of course, it has been dry most of the day, but right when it is about time to walk across campus to my car, it begins snowing. Stupid weather.
