Did you realize that January is almost over? I sure didn’t. This month has flown by for me. I didn’t even realize until this morning that the Super Bowl is this Sunday. And since the Super Bowl is this weekend, that also means that Survivor: All-Stars starts this weekend. HOORAY! Anyway, we’re going to a Super Bowl/Survivor party and I promised to bring food to it. It’s a good thing I remembered that it is only 4 days away, otherwise my friends & family would have been wondering where the hell I was. Then they’d call me, and I wouldn’t have prepared the main dish, which is what I promised to bring. Recently I changed my Not/Available message on ICQ to say “Out of my mind. Back later.” That phrase is really summing up the way I feel lately.

I saw ‘The Butterfly Effect‘ last night. It was an interesting movie. There were definitely moments it seemed that Ashton was falling into ‘Kelso’ territory, but overall he did alright with a dramatic role. As long as you ignore your logical side, this movie is enjoyable. (It’s not that you need to realize that it isn’t plausible to go back in time by reading a journal, I can play along with that. It’s the fact that he seems to change so many people’s realities without their remembering any of them, but he remembers all of these pasts that he’s lived and it only has an effect on his little circle of friends.) I’m not a film critic, I enjoy watching movies for the most part. I also know what I absolutely do not enjoy (my choice for this past year was Alex & Emma….) and this movie entertained me.

Must keep working. Having a difficult time doing so….
