Oh hell. Some people need to relax. A pastor at the Christ Community Church in Alamogordo, NM has held this big book burning to protest the Harry Potter books. He says that they are the manuals that teach children about the occult and trains them to become witches and wizards. Hasn’t he ever heard of fiction? Does he seriously think that little children are going to go to London and try to jump through a brick wall to get onto Platform 9 3/4 to catch a train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? The books have sparked a renewed interest in reading for children all over the world. How can that be a bad thing?

Poor lonely blog. It’s been so long since I’ve paid attention to you….

It is finals week. It’s pretty hard to take classes and work full-time and try to fit it all in between the hours of 8-5. Doesn’t work that well. Next semester I’m taking night classes. But I will tell you, my Computer Architechture class has been one of the toughest classes I’ve ever taken, but I’m getting an A in it, and that feels damn good.

We bought a new car, a new Subaru Outback. Crocodile Dundee is endorsing a good product there. I like it, even though I never get to drive it cause it is my husband’s car.
